DWTS – Wednesday Media, Videos, Interviews, and More
Corky posted this fun interview on his Twitter last night of he and Florence getting interviewed after the Finale show. She is so cute!
In some more serious news, Access Hollywood is reporting that Jennifer’s “next move” is surgery. Jennifer told them that she would take care of the injury she sustained last Monday night before Tuesday’s finale show. She plans to have the surgery this week or sometime next week. Check her out. She’s so brave and says it won’t be a big deal.
Kyle Massey reveals his future plans too to Access Hollywood. I have a feeling this isn’t the last we will see of this funny guy.
Karina revealed more of her marriage plans to fiancé Brad Penny on Access Hollywood this week. She is as giddy as ever.
Lastly, Julianne Hough was interview by YDR while attending the Red carpet for “Burlesque”. She answered some questions about her career, family, DWTS, and love life “. Here is a take. Be sure to read the link for more.
Where are you coming from? I was in Nashville for a day, which was great because I was home. I missed my sister’s birthday, so I got to take her out and do a whole girly spa day.
You have a pretty big family. Yes. In my immediate (family) it’s not too bad. There (are) five kids. My parents split up and remarried, so there (are) 14 kids, which means there are probably 23 nieces and nephews. (Laughs) It’s kind of confusing.
You spent a lot of time in Europe studying dance as a kid. What was that like? Going over there as a 10-year-old, you think they are still going to be wearing big dresses and using horse-drawn carriages. I was so disappointed when everybody drove cars and was on trains. But it was a great experience. I really think I’m where I’m at today because of it.
What was it like to land “DWTS?” When (producers) asked me to do the show, I first said, “no,” because I wanted to act and sing. It was such a great opportunity. In my first two seasons, I got to be with two great athletes (who) really listened to me. (Laughs)
Your brother Derek Hough recently won “DWTS” with Jennifer Grey. Did you watch? It was exciting, but it’s kind of depressing. We were both tied for two (wins). Now he’s got three. It’s not fair. (Laughs) I was shooting “Footloose” this season, so I couldn’t watch every day. I tried to YouTube him.
What did you think of Bristol Palin? There seemed to be a lot of controversy about her this season. Apparently, I’ve said a lot of it. My foot gets in my mouth every time I say anything. I can understand why she (was) in the competition so long because people vote for who they want to vote for. But I definitely think there were (other) people who probably should have been in the final.
Ok, that is it for now in media out there. If you haven’t done so yet, please VOTE in our “Pure DWTS End Of Season Awards”
DWTS – Season 11 Afterlife Continues, Future Contenders, & Media Wrap Up
Well, if you’ve been reading some of the entertainment headlines this week, there are a lot of rumors saying DWTS officials are eyeing Todd Palin for the show next year. A site called Thirdage is reporting that Meghan McCain is also a possible contender. But, check out the last question this site asks in the take below while they report on these two rumors that grabbed my attention. One obvious reason that ABC would want to recruit Todd Palin comes from the unprecedented buzz on the show this past season stemming from Bristol Palin’s involvement.
“They want him big time,” a source told E! Online. “They’d love Sarah, but they don’t think that will ever happen, so why not go for the dad.”
The show is apparently also after Meghan McCain, daughter of 2008 GOP presidential candidate John McCain. This season, Jennifer Grey was crowned winner but Bristol Palin’s long stay and unprecedented fan support became a talking point.
Perhaps the question to ask then becomes: Is Dancing with the Stars intentionally recruiting top GOP connections for more than entertainment purposes?
I hate to say it. But, if this rumor is true, why are they only wanting contenders from the GOP? If they are seriously wanting to continue having someone connected to politics to dance, why don’t they pick someone from another Party?
Anyway, I really hope, like many of you have expressed, we won’t have to go down the same political road next Season. But, being ratings were so good for Season 11, I’m fearing DWTS officials will repeat themselves?
Speaking of Palins, did you know our 3rd place winner this Season and The Situation made a “Pause before you play” commercial for the “Candie’s Foundation“?
I thought the video had a really cool message. However, Keith Olbermann thought differently. Here is a take of that report from The Washington Post and how Bristol responded to him on it.
In the PSA, Bristol and The Situation exchanged lively banter as to whether abstinence or a better grade of condom made the most sense for teens contemplating a roll in the hay. Extra points if you can guess which person advocated which.
“Bristol Palin, she has done a public service announcement this The Situation guy from TV’s ‘Jersey Shore.’ It’s about abstinence and safe sex. Sadly, it is not a spoof done by The Onion,” Olbermann said, showing a clip of the PSA.
Olbermann continued: “She’s the Candies spokesperson for abstinence? She and her son? Because it’s got to work this time? This is like saying George Bush kept us safe except for that 9/11 thing, which doesn’t count.”
Bristol responded, at great length, via Facebook:
Recently, a left wing commentator named Keith Olbermann attacked me for being a spokesperson for abstinence education and for being an Ambassador for the Candies Foundation, which promotes teen pregnancy awareness and prevention education. He went so far as to call me “the worst person” he knows, apparently, for my efforts to educate teenagers about the real world risks of premarital sex.
Accusing me of hypocrisy is by now, an old canard. What Mr. Olbermann lacks in originality he makes up for with insincere incredulity. Mr. Olbermann fails to understand that in order to have credibility as a spokesperson, it sometimes takes a person who has made mistakes. Parents warn their children about the mistakes they made so they are not repeated. Former gang members travel to schools to educate teenagers about the risks of gang life. Recovered addicts lecture to others about the risks of alcohol and drug abuse. And yes, a teen mother talks about the benefits of preventing teen pregnancy.
I have never claimed to be perfect. If that makes me the “worst person in the world” to Mr. Olbermann, then I must apologize for not being absolutely faultless like he undoubtedly must be.
To Mr. Olbermann let me say this: you can attack me all you want. But you will not stop me from getting my message out about teen pregnancy prevention. And one day, if you ever have a daughter, you may change your mind about me.
In other things to report, there is a cool interview up at The Washington Post with David Hasselhoff. Here is what he said on his Dancing With The Stars experience. Be sure to read the link for more.
I also wanted to ask you about “Dancing With the Stars.” You were the first contestant eliminated in this last season. That had to sting a little bit…
The funny thing about it is I got more press out of being kicked off first than if I’d won. I didn’t have to go through 10 weeks of hell. It was great. At first I was disappointed because of Kym
The 80's Dance Moves return

But do not worry, because if you were like slow dances of the 80s to offer a lot of ballads. In fact, it seems that every great rock and roll of the 80s had at least one hit with a ballad. />
You can brush on some of your 80 dance steps, though. Breakdancing was at that time, although according to its continuation in the 90s. If it is not safe to go back, that is, why not consider the worm? This is one that requires some practice to get up in the middle of the body and new impulses forward. />
The robot you'll love a lot of people because that is imitating a mannequin with her body. It 's fun to practice this dance movement in front of a mirror so you can be sure to look as hard for you going strong. For the heavy 80's dance music is given the opportunity to do the Grand Slam. This is a very dangerous type of dance, but so be warned – almost always someone Verke you run in place.
